What was your nickname at Trinity? Bon, although I doubt anyone can remember why. I can't, but I do know that it wan't because I was good in French!

Best things about the school: Bob Hobbs' basketball club in the Upper Gym on a Wednesday night, although that wasn't really anything to do with the school.

Worst things about the school: The smell in the corridor where the French and German classrooms were in the Upper School.

Favourite teachers: I can't remember many, but I thought that Mrs Green was a good geography teacher until she left, and Geoff Tarrant did alright for me in A-level Computing.

Education after Trinity: BSc in Computing Science at Newcastle University.

Career to Date: I stayed on at Newcastle University after graduating to be a PC Systems Administrator and I'm still there as I write this.

Where do you live now? Gateshead Quays.

Details of spouse / partner, kids etc: Living with a lovely Geordie lass, but not officially tied down yet.

Old school friends you'd like to trace: Nobody in particular, but it'd be good to hear from anyone who knew me.

Best thing that ever happened to you at Trinity: Can't think of one particularly good thing, but the worst, or most embarassing, would be missing a 5:20am train for an A-level trip to London, and arriving at the station in just enough time to be told off through the window as the rest of the class pulled away from the platform.

If you could have your time at Trinity again, you would... : Not take A-level Physics. I hope that the teaching has improved since then!

"Cheers Nick, it's good to see that somebody's making an effort to maintain a list of alumni. I did suggest it to a few people a little while back, but didn't get round to doing much. I did however start, with input from a few contemporaries, to produce a list of where people from my year at Trinity had got to, or where we had last heard they'd gone. We didn't get very far, and the information about what each person is doing is now very out of date, so there's no point passing that on, but I will let you have the list of people from that year group. I think it's practically complete (I've included it below)."
