What were the best
things you remember about the school: The sudden
freedom you had when you entered the 6th form. (Bunking
off from games and several trips around town in study
periods).
What were the worst
things you remember about the school: Being Bullied
in the first year 1H. Playing Rugby in the Snow. Been
made to play football (not in the snow) Taking exams in
the summer of 76 really hot.
Who were your favourite
teachers: Mr Whitworth Maths. Mr Roe Biology.
What is the one
lasting memory you have from your time at the school:
There are so many and it's amazing how the memories come
flooding back by reading other peoples comments. I wished
I had taken a few more photos while I was there.

Best thing that
ever happened to you at Trinity: Scraping into
the sixform with a bucket full of grade C 'O' levels.

up for myself a bit more especially in the first few years.

What
was your nickname at Trinity: "Irvy" Of
all the nicks I've been given, it was the least imaginitive!
What were the best things you remember about the school:
Nothing that I can be proud of now! I hated the place and
the way it kept me a) bored & unmotivated b) open to 'abuse'
from peers & teachers & c) killed my dreams of having
an 'achieving' career.
What
were the worst things you remember about the school:
The bullying & intimidation destroyed my chance/desire
for a 'normal' life and set me on the path to be an activist
and iconoclast. It took me years to re-build my belief in
myself after the damage that place did.
Who
were your favourite teachers: Dr L D R Wilford PhD,
after his first term (in which he was a total TW*T! Shaun
Ferguson for introducing me to computers in 1972 - if only
I'd known!
What
is the one lasting memory you have from your time at the school:
Leaving.

I've been learning & qualifying my whole life! Electrical
& electronic engineering in 1979, (to BEng level) Television
studio techniques in 1986, business management (NVQ4) in 1990,
humanistic counselling (Ad Dip) in 1996, IT teaching to people
with special needs 1998, to name the highlights.
Details
of your career to date: (HIGHLIGHTS) Army 1979-82
(active service during Falklands war) Lance Corporal in REME
as a rapier AA missile technician. TV Editor 1987-92. Made
sports TV progs for pan-euro satellite station. Semi-pro sportsman
1984-1993. American football. Played in representative internationals
for England * UK. Cannabis activist 1993-present. Also website
designer/administrator & trainee 'iboga' therapist.
Where do you live now: In a beautiful thatched
country house in the rural heartland of Holland between Amsterdam
& Utrecht.
Family details - spouse, children etc: Single
& happy, never fathered a child. Married once, never again.
Old school friends you'd like to trace: A
few of the 'girls' to say sorry to, (but no names) and Mr
bloody Stuart B***ie to find out if he ever realised what
a loathsome bully was, and was sorry.
Best thing that ever happened to you at Trinity:
Meeting a few people who are still my valued & trusted
friends today...Barney, Reidy & Marion in particular.
If you
could have your time again at Trinity, you would.....:
Have refused POINT BLANK to have ever gone there.
Any
other details: Although I hated everything about
it, it made me who I am and I have no regrets about who I
am, no-matter how unconventional a path my life has taken
me on. Also I now appreciate that most other people there
were in one way or another, just as screwed-up as me!

What were the best
things you remember about the school: Rugby training
with Joe Roe and Eric Haugh.
What were the worst
things you remember about the school: French teachers,
all of them. Probably due to my ineptitude at the subject.
Who were your favourite
teachers: Joe Roe, that's it.
What is the one lasting
memory you have from your time at the school: Nearly
drowning in the deep end of the pool when someone jumped
on my head.

Royal Navy.

to date: Royal Navy for 23 years, Test Engineer
3.5 years. Own car care business to date.

now: Fareham Hants

- she is a dental hygienist. Two sons age 13 & 12, one
